Graduated in Architecture at Polytechnic of Milan after studying at Shenzhen University, she earned her doctorate from the University of Rome. Her thesis, investigating the concept of Chineseness in contemporary Chinese cities through the application of typo-morphological approaches, was awarded the INU Prize 2018.
Activist and curator of collective RebelArchitette, Domenica supports the global cause of gender equity in the architectural industry. From 2015 to 2018, she was a member of the editorial team of UrbanisticaTre, class-A journal of urban planning, and a curator for DIVISARE.com. In 2018, she had been the editor-in-chief of DIVISARE BOOKS publishing – among the others – de vylder vinck taillieu, Carla Juaçaba, Louis Kahn, Lacroix Chessex, RCR Arquitectes, and Vector Architects.
Domenica has been teaching since 2013 and is currently a Lecturer at the Technische Universität Berlin.
